On March 3, 2007; our Judo Club took 8 judokas to the Silver State Judo Championship and took 8 medals: 2 gold, 3 silver
and 3 bronze. A great achievement competing against clubs from different states.

A small team of 6 judokas traveled to Claremont California to compete in
DR. Z Memorial Judo Tournament at Goltz Judo Club.
We went back home with 5 medals:
GOLD- Sergio Sanchez Jr.
GOLD- Lisette Aguero
GOLD- Angelica Romero
SILVER- Alejandro Aguero
BRONZE- Rolando Romero.
4th PLACE- Nelson Sanchez
Nelson Sanchez fought hard and with courage but after two fights had to retire because of illness.We know he'll win a
medal next tournament.

Elio Valladares (45 years old ) competed against younger judokas and took the GOLD medal. EXCELLENT!
Luis Arregoitia took bronze fighting against judokas that outweighted him by 40 pounds. GREAT EFFORT LUIS!
